The idea for this page has started in my tiny Parisien bathroom, which has actually no bath. I put a photo of a bath on the wall in my bathroom and wrote on it: "on dessine ce qui n'est pas la", which means we draw the things that aren't there... And that got me thinking, in a philosophical way that's what we do in live, we make up things , we believe in things that aren't always like they seem to be. After three dates with men, we can picture ourselves in a wedding on the French countryside. In life we are dreaming of a family, and a nice job, and personal intellectual development, which we want all to happen in one lifetime. So actually, this sentence was not that simple and got me thinking how I could concretize this concept.
As lucky as I am, I have a mother who is gifted with artistic DNA, and with who I can discuss these kind of ideas. And I'm sure it is because of her I have those ideas. As a kid I was dragged to thrift stores, which I found smelly and dirty, and for Mother's day you could only make her happy with a little piece of metal or a little patch we found on the streets, with which she could make her tapestries. As a consequence, my parent's house is full of art, drawings, tapestries, and vintage dresses, and to my opinion it is a pity that those things aren't shown to the world, yet....
